Emily Lyon Walkup, was born and raised in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Her early years revolved around horses. Spending every moment possible working at the stables, riding, training, and competing. 

​

As adolescence faded away her love for horses never faltered, but she felt pulled to experience different cultures and travel the world.

​

It was during this season of her life that she discovered her love for photography.

​

She desired to capture the beautiful and fleeting moments of her travels, so she could hold onto those experiences and memories forever and share them with her friends and family.

​

Combining all of her passions; horses, traveling and photography,

"Emily Lyon Photography" was born.

​

She has spent the last few years cultivating a hobby into a dedicated craft.

 

Striving to capture that perfect moment, where the light, timing, and connection all align.
